ABOUT US         

The LaFayette Art Department

The Art Department at the Junior/Senior High School provides students with opportunities to explore creativity through a wide range of traditional and contemporary art forms. Courses emphasize skill-building, creative problem-solving, and personal expression while connecting to real-world applications. Students engage in drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, digital media, ceramics,  and mixed media-based projects that encourage both individual voice and collaboration. The department fosters a supportive environment where students gain confidence, develop artistic techniques, and showcase their work through school and community exhibitions.
