LaFayette CSD launches communications survey

In the last couple of years, the district has taken several steps to improve communication with the community.  We increased our use of SchoolMessenger to include texting and email. We also updated our website, created an app, started a process to involve various community stakeholders in the development of our school budget, started writing stories in the newsletter about our students' and staff's accomplishments, and provided access to a subscription to "Parent Today."

There are also building-level communications initiatives such as the use of reminder.com.

It is time to see what you think of our work to improve communication so we are launching an online Communications Survey.
The questionnaire was developed as a way to measure what kind of information people want to receive and how they want it delivered. The district also wants to know how informed its stakeholders feel, the sources of information people rely on most and how it can better meet the communications needs of our families, staff members and other residents.

The results will help identify the district’s communication strengths and areas that need improvement.

The survey, which is being managed by our BOCES communications service, should take no more than ten minutes to complete and can be accessed from almost any computer or mobile device. It will be available through February 20, 2017.  Participation is completely anonymous.

Thank you in advance for taking some time to provide the district with this important input.
