Candy graphs

Onondaga Nation- Mrs. Gosh’s 2nd grade classroom has been working on graphing this fall. With the abundance of candy around them, they decided to graph their M&M candy packets.
The class made predictions of which colors would be most prevalent inside their 8oz. bag. Would it be red? Green? Or even Yellow? Most of the class seemed to think that red would hold the title of most M&Ms.
As the students opened their bags and began the process of organizing and recording their results, second grader Holly said of the activity, “I like it because it is cool and I could see I had more orange.”

Mrs. Gosh and her class plans to do even more graphing so please check out their work in room 203.
