Positive Case - Grimshaw Elementary 11/25/2020

Good Morning,

 

The district was notified yesterday afternoon that a student who attends Grimshaw Elementary School tested positive for COVID-19. The student tested positive after coming into close contact with a positive case outside of school. This student was last in attendance on Friday November 20, 2020.

 

The district has notified the Onondaga County Health Department and we are working with the county to complete the contact tracing protocol. The district will be notifying families and staff members who came into close contact with this positive case later today so that these close contacts can begin the quarantine protocol.

 

At this point, Grimshaw Elementary, LaFayette Jr/Sr High School, and LaFayette Big Picture School will continue to remain open for in person instruction on Monday November 30, 2020. The Onondaga Nation School will continue to educate students via digital instruction through at least January 29th.
