Morning Routine
Doors will be locked until 7:30am.  
You may obtain breakfast starting at 7:45am.
Wherever you enter the building (BP entrance or HS cafeteria) is where you will stay until 7:45am when the interior doors will be opened.



SOLE HOPE
Sole Hope is an organization that was created to make closed toed shoes for African children.  Without shoes, children and adults are walking barefoot.  They became susceptible to injuries and jiggers, sand fleas.  With a simple solution and recycled material, shoes can be made to protect African people from illness and injury.  The organization also helps African men and women by teaching them a trade – how to make shoes.
 
Big Picture 201’s have been working since the start of the school year to make shoes for Sole Hope.  Their goal is 300 pairs.  You can help by sending in DENIM.  If you have any new or slightly used denim please drop it off at our front desk.

Video Game Marathon
Our Annual STEP Video Game Marathon to raise money for Golisano Children's Hospital will take place on Friday May 27th.  Students will raise money through sponsors to play video games of their choice for 12 hours.  Donations can be given to students, or by going online to www.foundationforupstate.org/gchdonate.  Select Designation and choose Upstate Golisano Children's Hospital.  In the tribute section choose: In honor of and then put in the name Video Game Marathon.

Important Message: This morning, the president of the LaFayette Central School District Board of Education received a letter from the Onondaga Nation, informing the School District that the Nation Council of Chiefs has decided that its children’s last day of school will be today, June 16, 2017.  Nation members thereafter arrived at the Onondaga Nation School and withdrew their children from school. District mourns loss of community member: Members of the LaFayette Central School District community are grieving the loss of a LaFayette parent and two family members who were known and loved by students and staff members. On June 13, Jamie Bell, 34, died as the result of an automobile accident. The accident also claimed the lives of Jamie’s relatives, Melissa Avery, 26 and Maryssa F.
