New this year, the Grimshaw yearbook will be in color! The cost is only $7.00 They were NOT included in your portrait price and must be pre-ordered by Feb. 2nd. Order envelopes have been sent home.
Lost-n-Found
The lost and found is growing everyday! Many items appear to be brand new (possible Christmas Gifts?). Any items not claimed by the end of the year are donated to a charity.

Lancers Stadium Blankets - Fleece on one side & Nylon on the other - All proceeds go to LaFayette Lacrosse Assoc. - The only blanket remaining - will be raffled off at the girls basketball game, 2/9 @ h.s. Tickets are only $1 each.

Mission Statement
The mission of C. Grant Grimshaw Elementary School is to nurture the growth and development of the total child. We will foster in each child a positive self-image by assisting all children to achieve their inidividual potential in academic, social, emotional and physical skills. These skills will promote good citizenship and a life long interest in learning. To achieve these goals, we will provide a mutually supportive environment for students, parents, staff and administrators enhanced by a sense of community throughout the district.

(Drug Abuse Resistance Education)
On January 8th,Grimshaw Fifth Grade Students participated in a ceremony to celebrate their completion of the D.A.R.E Program. Ceremony speakers included Superintendent, Peter Tigh; Principal, Greg Bump; Resource Officer, Trooper Gary Oelkers and Special Guest Speaker,Penny S. Williams. Ms. Wiliams is the Coordinator of Youth Development and ADAPEP for OCM BOCES.

Grimshaw School is open 4-7pm for hall walking. Please enter the building through the cafeteria entrance and sign in. Bring clean, dry shoes and a friend and walk at your own pace.

Once again this year the winter coat drive was a huge success. Thank you to everyone for sending in items. We still have a few items (coats, hats & gloves) here in the building, if you or your child are in need of any of these items, please
