GAPS Imagination Library Program
The GAPS Imagination Library program provides a free book each month to every child who is under the age of five that resides in the LaFayette Central School District!  Each participating child will receive their free book through the mail until their fifth birthday.  Families may register their children by e-mailing the following information to:

LaFayette Jr./Sr. HS's parking rules restrict cars from driveway loop at certain times: During school arrival and dismissal times, LaFayette Jr./Sr. HS's front driveway loop is reserved for school buses only.    Other motor vehicle parking and through traffic are not permitted in the loop from 7:15a to 7:45a and from 2:35p to 2:50p. This allows us to safely transport our students. A message from Superintendent Lavine: On September 6, 2016, Governor Cuomo signed a new law requiring public schools in New York to test for lead in all water outlets currently or potentially used for drinking or cooking. The new law makes New York the first state in the nation to require all of its public schools to conduct lead testing on all sources of potable water. Because C. LaFayette senior inducted into peer leadership program: LaFayette Junior/Senior High School senior Emily Long wants to help her peers make good decisions and lead healthy lives.  During a September 8 ceremony held at Rosamond Gifford Zoo, Emily was inducted into the Heart of New York Teen Institute (TI) as a member of the program’s Senior Youth Staff.
