GAPS Imagination Library Program
The GAPS Imagination Library program provides a free book each month to every child who is under the age of five that resides in the LaFayette Central School District!  Each participating child will receive their free book through the mail until their fifth birthday.  Families may register their children by e-mailing the following information to: vtryon@lafayetteschools.org

Student Council Cleans Up Grimshaw!: On Saturday, April 25th Grimshaw Student Council members, along with advisors Mrs. Reardon and Miss McHale, teamed up with OCRRA for the Earth Day Clean Up!  Students walked all around Grimshaw's building, bus garage, playground and fields cleaning up litter and trash and making sure Grimshaw's grounds were looking great!  Students collected 6 bags of trash in the sunshine and had a great time doing it!  Congratulations to all students involved and thank you for making Grimshaw ... more >>
Grimshaw Art Exhibit at Beaver Lake!: Art works by Lily Amidon (2 nd grade), Emmett Dix (3 rd grade), Keara Heffernan (3 rd grade), Brandy Gibson (4 th grade) and Andrew Kostiv (4 th grade) were selected to represent Grimshaw Elementary School at a special exhibit celebrating the artistic achievements of elementary level students. Family Literacy Night!: Spring into Spring! Dr. Seuss Day!: "In Katroo, every year, on the day you were born They start the day right in the bright early morn When the Birthday Honk-Honker hikes high up Mt. Zorn and lets loose a big blast on the big Birthday Horn. And the voice of the horn calls out loud as it plays: "Wake up! Lancers on the Ice!: While the Syracuse Crunch may not have come out in the end with a win, on February 28th the crowd at the War Memorial Arena was filled with patriotic spirit as our 5th and 6th grade chorus, under the direction of Ms. Cook, sang the National Anthem!  Wearing green and gold, and showing a lot of Lancer Pride, the students kicked the game off with great energy and in great voice!  Congratulations to all involved and here's hoping the Crunch wins next time!  If you missed the game ... more >>
