4/19 COVID Testing Results and 4/21 Vaccine Clinic Reminder

COVID Testing Clinic Results from Monday 4/19

Grimshaw Elementary, LaFayette Jr/Sr High School, and LaFayette Big Picture School hosted an asymptomatic testing clinic for students and staff members this morning. Thank you to our awesome school nurses Ms. Brown, Ms. Dumond, and Ms. Gates for conducting the testing and thank you to our partners at Onondaga County for assisting with coordinating the testing clinic. Here are the results:

 

Grimshaw: 22 tested, 0 positive

LaFayette Jr/Sr High School and Big Picture School: 12 tested, 0 positive

 

Total: 34 tested, 0 positive 

 

Save the Date - Next COVID Testing Clinic Monday 5/3/21

Mark your calendars for our next asymptomatic COVID testing clinic on Monday May 3, 2021 for students and staff members.Once the registration details are finalized, I will send out information to families so you can fill out the consent form and schedule an appointment for testing. 

 

COVID Vaccine Clinic Wednesday 4/21/21 - LaFayette Jr/Sr High School

New York State has announced that all individuals who are ages 16 and up can register for the COVID vaccine. 

 

We have plenty of open appointments for the vaccine clinic on Wednesday 4/21. If you know someone who is eligible and needs a vaccine appointment, we are happy to let those individuals join our clinic on Wednesday. Registration details are available on our website:
