ONS Volleyball Game

Onondaga Nation-  On November 23, 2010, the school gathered in the gym to watch a volleyball game.  The students were anxious to watch the game because the 7th and 8th graders were playing against the teachers.

Students came to the gym with signs to cheer for their team.  A lot of the signs cheered on the teachers. 

Riley from the 1st grade said, "It's fun and awesome to watch this game."

The game was very exciting.  The fans were cheering for each point.  The players showed lots of energy.  They were running, hitting, spiking and sliding after the ball.

8th grader Trenton said of the game, " This game is tense!"

It was a very close game with the students losing to the teachers 25-22.  The score really didn't matter as the whole school had fun.

Robyn, a 7th grader, said, "Its sweet to play against the teachers.  It was an awesome game."

We are all happy we got to watch such a great game.
