NYSPHSAA Announces Fall 2020 Scholar-Athlete Teams

On Dec. 16, the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) announced its Scholar-Athlete Teams for fall 2020. The LaFayette Central School District is proud to announce that five of its teams qualified for this distinction! They are the: 

• Boys’ Cross Country Team
• Girls’ Cross Country Team
• Boys’ Soccer Team
• Girls’ Soccer Team
• Boys’ Golf Team

In order to earn this distinction, a certain percentage of individuals on the team (calculated by roster size) must have carried an academic average of 90% or better during the eligibility period.
