Asymptomatic Testing Clinic - Grimshaw Students and LaFayette CSD Staff

Dear Grimshaw Families, LaFayette CSD and OCM BOCES Staff Members:

Our partners at Onondaga County have graciously agreed to host an on-site testing clinic for asymptomatic Grimshaw Elementary students and LaFayette CSD/OCM BOCES staff on Friday December 11, 2020 from 8:30-11:30. 

Students and staff would need to pre-register for an appointment for testing. For students, who are being tested, we also require parents/guardians to complete a consent form. Testing will take place in the cafeteria on the stage and the area will be thoroughly cleaned after testing is completed. For students, NYS requires that we obtain parental consent for testing (two steps below; staff members only need to register). 

1. Parents/caregivers of students participating in testing and staff members will need to pre-register for testing: https://covid19.ongov.net/appointments/school-registration-form/ Please register prior to 4:00 PM on Thursday December 10th.

Testing participants will receive results within the same day. In the event that a student or staff member tests positive for COVID, that individual would have to leave school and isolate at home.

Individuals who experience symptoms (fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle/body aches, headache, new loss of taste/smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, or diarrhea), should stay home from school and should contact their medical professional to determine next steps.

This testing clinic is available for Grimshaw Elementary students, and LaFayette CSD/OCM BOCES staff members who do not have any symptoms of COVID.
