Positive Case - LaFayette Jr/Sr High School

Good Afternoon,

 

The district was notified today that a student who attends LaFayette Jr/Sr High School tested positive for COVID-19.This student was last in attendance on Friday December 4, 2020. The district has notified all of the families with students who were in close contact with the student who tested positive. Staff members who were determined to be in close contact have also been notified. 

 

The district has been in touch with the Onondaga County Health Department and we are working with the county to complete the contact tracing protocol. 

 

Grimshaw Elementary, LaFayette Jr/Sr High School, and LaFayette Big Picture School will continue to remain open for in person instruction. The Onondaga Nation School will continue to educate students via digital instruction through at least January 29th. 

 

Please be safe- wash those hands, stay six feet apart, wear a face covering, stay home when you are sick and contact your doctor if you are experiencing symptoms.
