Update on Positive Case - Digital Learner - Jr/Sr High 12/14
December 14, 2020
Good Afternoon:
The district was notified on Monday December 14, 2020 that a digital learner at LaFayette Jr/Sr High School tested positive for COVID-19. The student was last in attendance for in person learning back in early December and switched to digital learning. The student has not recently been in close contact with in person learners in the school setting.
The district has been in touch with the Onondaga County Health Department and the county identified that there is no need to conduct contact tracing.
Grimshaw Elementary, LaFayette Jr/Sr High School, and LaFayette Big Picture School will continue to remain open for in person instruction. The Onondaga Nation School will continue to educate students via digital instruction through at least January 29th.
Please be safe- wash those hands, stay six feet apart, wear a face covering, stay home when you are sick and contact your doctor if you are experiencing symptoms.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Belfield
