COVID Testing Clinic Results and Updates on Positive Cases

Thank you to our students and staff for participating in our asymptomatic COVID testing clinic today. Here are the results:

  • 65 individuals were tested at LaFayette Jr/Sr High School

  • 84 individuals were tested at Grimshaw Elementary

Only one asymptomatic individual at the high school tested positive for COVID-19. All close contacts have been notified and left school as soon as they were notified.

The district was also notified that a student at Grimshaw Elementary recently tested positive for COVID 19 but has not been in attendance recently. There were no close contacts at Grimshaw Elementary identified as a result of this case.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this challenging time. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Sincerely,

Jeremy Belfield
