Here are a few updates.

 

COVID Testing Clinic Results from Monday 3/22

Today, Grimshaw Elementary, LaFayette Jr/Sr High School, and LaFayette Big Picture School hosted an asymptomatic testing clinic for students and staff members. Thank you to our awesome school nurses Ms. Brown, Ms. Dumond, and Ms. Gates for conducting the testing and thank you to our partners at Onondaga County for assisting with coordinating the testing clinic. Here are the results:

 

Grimshaw: 36 tested, 0 positive

LaFayette Jr/Sr High School and Big Picture School: 36 tested, 0 positive

 

Total: 72 tested, 0 positive 

 

Next COVID Testing Clinic

Mark your calendars for our next asymptomatic COVID testing clinic on Monday April 5, 2021 for students and staff members.Once the registration details are finalized, I will send out information to families so you can fill out the consent form and schedule an appointment for testing. Check your email during the break week for registration details. We will also post this information under “News Stories” on the website.

 

Travel Over Spring Break

Earlier this month, Governor Cuomo announced that travel restrictions for domestic travel would be lifted effective April 1st- click here. If you are traveling during the upcoming break, please continue to follow public health precautions and monitor for any symptoms upon your return. Please remember to stay home from school when you are sick, wash your hands, and continue to wear a face covering.
