Update on Positive Cases

 

Monday May 10, 2021

 

Dear Families and Staff Members - 

 

The district has been notified of the following positive cases since our last report on Monday May 3, 2021:

 

• Two students at the Onondaga Nation School

• One student at LaFayette Big Picture School

• Three students at Grimshaw Elementary School

• One student at LaFayette Jr/Sr High School

All close contacts have been identified and families have been contacted. We wish these students a quick recovery. The district has been in contact with the Onondaga County Health Department regarding these cases. COVID is still a risk so please be sure to monitor for symptoms, get tested if you come into close contact with a positive case, and contact your doctor as soon as symptoms develop.

 

Please mark your calendar for Monday May 17th for our next voluntary asymptomatic COVID testing clinic. Once the registration link is finalized by Onondaga County, I will send out the appropriate sign up information.
