LaFayette voters approve $20.6 million budget, elect board members
On May 18th, LaFayette Central School District voters approved the district’s $20.6 million 2021-2022 budget proposal, elected three board of education members and approved purchasing two new student transportation vehicles and one new lawn mower with attachments. Voters approved:

An $20,631,885 budget for the 2021-2022 school year that increases spending 1.51 percent and carries a 2.2 percent tax levy increase: 213 yes, 40 no;

Purchasing two new student transportation vehicles, and one new lawn mower with attachments at a total cost not to exceed $300,510: 203 yes, 51 no;
Voters also elected three candidates for the three open board of education seats:
Ronald Shawn Reyburn Votes: 137 Term: July 1, 2021-June 30, 2024
Sarah Stanton Votes: 122 Term: July 1, 2021-June 30, 2024
Amy Roe-Ryan Votes: 113 Term: May 18, 2021-June 30, 2022
