Syracuse STEAM High School Information Sessions

March 11, 2024

Dear Families:

The City of Syracuse, the Syracuse City School District, Onondaga County, and New York State are collaborating on the area's first STEAM high school. Open to Syracuse City School District and OCM BOCES component districts, it emphasizes creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving. The curriculum offers eight concentrations, including:

- Business Entrepreneurship

- Construction Management

- Data Intelligence

- Entertainment Engineering

- Media Technology and Design

- Robotics/Automation

- Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology

- Visual & Performing Arts

The STEAM high school will stand as a beacon of cutting-edge education and innovation. With a focus on STEAM disciplines, students embark on a journey that combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on experiences, preparing them for the dynamic challenges of the future.

Join Executive Director/Planning Principal Jody Manning, MBA, Ed.D., for an informational session about the upcoming STEAM high school. During the session, you will be able to ask questions and receive additional information about the programs, the application process and more!

Informational sessions will be held on March 21, April 23, May 23, and June 20 from 4:30-6:00 PM at the Salt City Market, Community Room located at 484 S. Salina Street, Syracuse, NY 13202.
