Goguardian

The district provides Goguardian to teachers to enable them to guide students in the apropriate use of technology in the classroom. Teachers can use Goguardian to monitor students in real time and create temporary filters to help keep students on task. Please see the resources provided here and use teacher.goguardian.com to log in with your school email/Google account. For questions please email helpdesk @lafayetteschools.org

SmartPass

At the Jr./Sr. HIghschool, Teachers use SmartPass as our digital pass system and to allow students to schedule time with teachers during our WIN periods.

ParentSquare

The District uses ParentSquare to facilitate communication between parents and teachers. ParentSquare accounts are synced with teacher rosters.

If you are having issues with Parentsquare, please contact your building administrator. If you continue to have issues, please contact helpdesk @lafayetteschools.org

You can also go to the help section in ParentSquare (login required) to find answers in their help pages or to contact their support team.

Multi-Factor Authentication

All Lafayette employees with email access are required to enroll in multi-factor authentication. 

 

1. Access your Google Account settings:

Go to your Google Account page (myaccount.google.com) and navigate to the "Security" section. 

2. Locate 2-Step Verification:

Find the "2-Step Verification" option under the "Signing in to Google" section. 

3. Get Started:

Click "Get Started" and follow the on-screen instructions. You may need to re-login to your account for security purposes.

Frontline

Frontline is the application the district uses for staff to schedule and request approval for absences and to schedule professional development. You can access frontline from your Google apps menu when you are logged in to your school Google account. 

 

If you are having problems accessing Frontline, please contact your building administrator

SchoolTool

Schooltool is the district’s student information system. You can log in using your school Google account. For issues with schooltool, please email helpdesk @lafayetteschools.org

IXL

All Schools use IXL to support student growth in Math and ELA. You can log in here and your student rosters are synced for you via a connection to SchoolTool. If you are having issues with IXL, please contact your building administrator.

Joining the Wi-Fi Network

To add an iphone to the Staff network please follow these instructions:

 

 

Step 1: Make sure your Wi-Fi is turned on

Step 2: Select “other”

Step 3: Enter the network name

Step 4: Select WPA2/WPA3 for security

Step 5 Enter password

If you use an Android, you probably already know what you are doing, but here are the instructions:

Enter the network name:

Select this and enter the password given.

After you enter the password, click ‘Hidden Network’ and select Yes.
