The 1st grade classes have been learning about the differences between fiction and non-fiction. After reading some fiction and non-fiction books about certain animals, the students wrote and illustrated their very own books about what certain animals do (non-fiction) and don't do (fiction). Click on the photostories below to learn about dolphins (Zehner), polar bears (Davidson), and hedgehogs (Terrell) that each class created.
